DESCRIBE YOUR ARTISTIC PRACTICE.
I consider my practice a polytheistic lifestyle encompassing every area of my life, and I prefer to use the term iconographer to define myself as a creator of cult images.
DESCRIBE YOUR RELIGIOUS PRACTICE.
To serve the Netjeru (Gods) in every activity, at all times, and through all activities. To make service to Them the foundation of all goals and aspirations of my life. As a Kemetic priest my practice is based on cult, daily service to the Gods via Their cult images installed in our Temple.
HOW DO YOUR ARTISTIC AND RELIGIOUS PRACTICES INTERSECT?
The iconography I craft is a religious practice and lifestyle all on its own, being that the creation of cult images is the act of providing earthly bodies for the living Gods. My icons are crafted according to strict and traditional cultic protocols including daily offerings, sacrifice, and pilgrimage to perform holy rites with the divine images as they are being crafted.
